5 Bedroom Home Walking Distance to Beach

Dan and the whole team are really on top of everything! They answer extremely fast and help out with any problem or doubt you may have. They were great and we’ll stay again for sure if ever in the area again. Train can be annoying, but nothing they can do about it. Washer and dryer by the kitchen was very hand and helpful. Gate by the stairs for dogs to stay safe downstairs also a plus.

We stayed here to celebrate our daughter’s wedding, and it was a wonderful experience! The host was fantastic—very responsive and thorough, even checking in with us periodically during our stay. The home is thoughtfully stocked with lots of little extras that made it easy to settle in and feel right at home. We had plenty of space to prepare some of the food for the wedding and even had all the bridal party get ready at the home on the day of the wedding. A few notes for future guests:I didn’t realize there were steps at both entrances—about 3 to 4 stairs, including one just inside the back door. This may be mentioned in the listing, but based on the photos and the mention of a main-floor bedroom, I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. We were traveling with my elderly mom and try to avoid stairs, but she managed with a bit of assistance. Just something to keep in mind if accessibility is a priority for others. Also, as some other guests have mentioned, the neighbors are particular about street parking near their homes and may come over to ask you to move your vehicle. However, there’s ample parking directly in front of the house on the street where there are no residences, so I’d recommend planning to park any extra vehicles there.

The owners were very nice. They replied quickly and promptly addressed issues. Unfortunately the building itself was somewhat rundown; the floors were uneven and broken in places and the stairs were hazardous. While the immediate location wasn’t the best and the nearby train was quite loud, there are a lot of attractions nearby including Lake Erie and a safari where you can feed various animals.

Unfortunately no oversight with cleaning or upkeep of the property.
