The cabin was located near a lot of activities to do. Positive: The inside was clean and neat. It was very peaceful and quiet area. It was close to the hiking and kayaking we wanted to do. Negative: The outside was unkept, spider webs around the decking and the leaves were not cleaned up in the entrance area. Even though it is fall, it could have been cleaned up before we arrived to be more inviting. The water system needs updating, it is metal tasting when brushing our teeth. We had to buy bottled water for our stay. We did not use the gas heating unit, there were no instructions on how to use it.

Renter beware! We booked this cabin based on the excellent reviews we were not impressed Negative: I can honestly say this was the worst experience we have ever had! Lock box code did not work. After calling for assistance and trying the realtor box on the other door it was found that there was no key within it. We were there for a half a hour before we were able to get into the cabin. The towel ring pulled off the holder when hanging a towel up. A lady pulled into driveway, looked at our car then proceeded up by cabin to get garbage tote to put out by the road and then looked at our car again and took photo of it (not the property, just the car) which was very odd! Broken off drawer handles were inside of drawers. Wooden chest in closet had no front right side support under it and it tipped. No face plate on a bedroom wall outlet. The glass shower door leaves a water trail across the floor when you open it after showering. The water smells absolutely horrible! Missing end caps on some of the curtain hold backs. Lots of things that added up! There is a black cat with a white patch on it’s chest that is always right at the door that you need to watch so it doesn’t go into cabin or your vehicle as it follows you to your car. The only game we found was a deck of cards and there was no information for the free WiFi. We were offered a small refund due to the issues we experienced during our stay but customer service did not return any communication to my messages regarding our not receiving the proposed refund from them until after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Very clean and ready for our pet to enjoy as well! Check-in was simple and the location was perfect between Athens and Hocking Hills State Park!

Positive: The location of the cabin was amazing and super close to Hocking Hills. Negative: The bathroom door was hard to slide in/out. Other than no TV in the bedrooms and no washer or dryer. There's nothing to complain about.
